Inspirations from some Unique Women in Business

Yesterday, after receiving an order from a fellow UWIB Member, we had a discussion about how more and more of us are choosing to give gift items with meaning. For instance, my Breast Cancer Awareness Soap Bars have been selling out almost every day in the last two weeks. I have been wanting to add some other Awareness Soap Bars, with more scent choices, but just haven't had the time.

After conversing back and forth online with a few other members, I decided to expand my BCA (Breast Cancer Awareness) Line to include my lotions, shower gels and a few other products. So my very first BCA lotion is actually being shipped to my latest customer who ordered the BCA Soap Bars - Sarah. When you purchase any of our breast cancer awareness products, we donate a percentage of the profits to the Susan Komen Foundation.

I am going to expand on the "giving more" in the upcoming year. I have already signed up my company, Prim 'n Purdy, with the Go Red Movement on February 6, 2009. There are so many wonderful organizations out there that I know I cannot possibly include them all, but I would really like to show as much support as I possibly can. Please watch our blog as we will list different organizations/charities throughout 2009 with products you will be able to purchase and part of our profits will be donated to these organizations/charities. We already have a few ideas for January and we will keep you updated on what organization we have chosen to support.
